Marnie took tremendous pride and joy in caring for the young patients in her charge at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. Knowing that our children are our future, the Rose family continues the legacy of Dr. Marnie Rose by funding pediatric initiatives at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.
At Children’s Memorial Hermann, we first focused on projects of immediate need. The Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation created and developed their Pediatric Palliative Care Program, opened Marnie’s Garden room, and helped to outfit the first pediatric Life Flight helicopter. Now at Children’s Memorial Hermann, in addition to pioneering amazing new research to treat adult and pediatric brain tumors, our donations are being utilized to expand the pediatric Chronic and Palliative Services program.

Rose Pod
A pod of pediatric rooms named in Dr. Marnie Rose’s memory at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital
This antique statue was a gift to Marnie from her proud father in celebration of her acceptance to The University of Texas Houston Medical School and her choice of pediatric medicine.
As a tribute to her love for her children and their well-being the Rose family graciously donates this statue to the patients and staff of Marnie’s beloved Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, June 2005.
