Donna Diegel Egan, passed away July 6, 2015 after her battle with brain cancer. Donna’s whole family, as well as the entire Remax Fine Properties office family have participated in the Run for the Rose and we will continue to support the cause in her honor.
Donna was diagnosed with glioblastoma on January 12 at Methodist Sugarland. She had surgery on January 15. After her surgery, we moved to MD Anderson to undergo more treatment.
As I am Donna’s youngest daughter, caregiver, and business partner, I witnessed her incredible spirit and work ethic even as she was fighting brain cancer. She had wanted to return to work with me as quickly as possible. She was even still calling clients and answering questions daily about our listings as she continued the fight. Donna had three grandchildren, one step daughter, and six grandchildren who continue to support her.
