Geronimo Jimenez’s (July 20, 1913 – July 7, 1991) initial surgery was on his birthday in 1989. Just a few days before, he was diagnosed with Lymphoma on the right side of the brain. He was the kindest man. If you ever came by the house, he always opened his home to anyone. He loved watching the Astros and had to have a big root beer float. He always made sure we had Blue Bell ice cream if we were celebrating someone’s birthday.
