John Ainsworth

John had skin cancer for many years, and in 2004, he had some removed from his right eyelid. The doctor assured us that he had clean margins, but one year later, John started to have pain in his right cheek. The cancer had traveled down his infraorbital nerve. After 3 years of surgeries, radiation and chemo, he lost his battle with cancer. The cancer spread to his brain. He fought a very long hard battle with courage and grace. He was 64 years old and had just retired and was looking forward to taking care of me. He was the most loving husband and a best friend to all that knew him.
