Sharon was diagnosed with a stage IV Glioblastoma in the spring of 2007, and was treated at Colorado Neurological Institute under the excellent care of Dr. Arenson. Sharon underwent two surgeries to remove the tumor, followed by multiple rounds of radiation and chemotherapy. However, one year later, the tumor aggressively returned. Sharon went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 10, 2008.
Sharon lived life to the fullest, even prior to her diagnosis. She never took herself too seriously, she always had time to listen, and she’d never let you leave her house hungry. Sharon may no longer be with us, but her legacy lives on.
Her family has grown since her passing to include a new daughter-in-law and two new grandchildren, whom Sharon would have adored. She is loved and missed and never forgotten. We look forward to the day that we see her again in our permanent home, Heaven.
